Luxor Celebrates Gold Infused Champagne at Kiss & Fly
How is this for Luxury – French winemaker Luxor has manufactured the first champagne bottle infused with genuine 24-carat gold leaves. The Luxor Brut consists of 90% Pinot Noir, 7% Chardonnay and 3% Pinot Meunier and its aged for two to three years with the special golden mixture. We just know Diddy is somewhere screaming in agony for not manufacturing this first- sorry Diddy but Luxor beat you to the finish line.
And, Diddy’s pain will grow louder once he discovers that only about one thousand bottles are produced each year. The bottles which are very pricey (about $800 to $900 dollars a bottle) are only available to purchase in very limited distribution. Sadly Luxor Brut, is not readily available in the US, but this didn’t stop us from sampling this bubbly. You see, this past Wednesday (December 1st), we headed to Kiss & Fly, for a special inaugural champagne celebration where the champagne was flowing and unlimited. We, of course, enjoyed this decadent treat and as one would imagine champagne is exquisite. In addition to the tasting guests enjoyed bites, gold “tattoos” from a local staffer and a live show where a virtually nude model was body painted with gold leaves. And, of course more champagne. Yes we fancy.
