Armani Exchange Spring 2011
Armani Exchange will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year; and, in anticipation of the big 2-0, the barely legal retailer, will create special capsule collections (with a higher price point) which will include limited-edition pieces (these will also have the logo A|XX), staples pieces redefined and updated (total must have); and for Spring 2011 the contemporary brand will change focus by choosing more casual designs to represent brand.
The Spring 2011 collection, which we recently previewed at Milk Studios, is functional, eclectic, and VERY casual; inspired by “popular destinations and into the exotic world of the “Travelista,” this collection fully demonstrate, Michael Maccari‘s (Armani Exchange Fashion Director) vision of a “tone down” Armani Exchange customer. It seems this new direction is geared to attract younger and hipper clients with more disposable income than its current customer. We aren’t sure how it will be received by the masses but we do love some pieces from the collection. Standout pieces include, the effortlessly classic trench coat, the denim romper, and the loose-fitting pants.
