Hot! We Say Plan Your Next Party at RDV

Hidden beneath the cobblestone streets of the Meatpacking District, the exclusive lounge RdV (also known as Rendezvous) hosted a private event to promote their beautifully decorated bar and party venue. This Victorian home style bar and lounge space boasts antique furniture and European décor, stylishly mismatched under elegant lighting to create a comfortable homey feel with a little bit of flare. Corey Lane, co-owner of the venue, lovingly describes his combination of Old World and New Art as “like the living room of a rich woman who lived in the south of France!” Fantastic!

Not only is RdV a comfortable, elegant, and stylish place to spend an evening with friends, but it is also buzzing with an eclectic crowd of in-the-know New Yorkers, fashionistas, hipsters, and Wall Street business men. What attracts such a wonderfully mixed crowd? Aside from the ambiance, the DJ mixed it up with a fun mixture of tunes from Aretha Franklin, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Stevie Wonder, and other familiar favorites. And since every night has a different music theme, you are sure to find yourself dancing to your favorite tunes any day of the week.

Food for this exclusive event was catered by the French restaurant Bagatelle, also owned by Corey Lane and co-owner Patrick Cabido. The h’ordeuvres consisted of a fabulous and flavorful salmon and caviar, tender tuna tartar, and lovely chicken dumplings – definitely a treat!
