So, heard of Rent The Runway?
With designers such as Anna Sui, Rodarte, Jimmy Choo and so many more jumping on the band wagon to create affordable lines inspired by their haute duds, we find it interesting that a new company has just been launched where fashionistas can “borrow” or rather rent the latest designers collections for a fraction of the cost. That’s exactly what Rent The Ruway is doing. I took a peak at the site and prices and merchanside offer is pretty afforable and best of all current. We aren’t sure how we feel about seeing every wanna be socialite rocking the Max Axria latest dress! Though if this mean seeing this Herve Leger dress or “slut dress” as MK calls it, make a come back then that’s something that I can be on board with.
Maybe this means the lines to get designers collection for Target or Hennes and Mauritz (better known as H&M) will get shorter? Maybe? Because as if stands there’s no shortage of ultra fab garments that any recessionista can love and will gladly wait in line to get their hands. For instance, that ultra exclusive Anya Hindmarch bag. I waited in the rain for that bag. In the rain, not a good luck.
Though, if you want to join you can’t without an invitation that is. Currently, no applications are being offered. In meantime you can follow them on twitter or facebook, while you wait for your invitation.
