Ralph Lauren 4-D Light Show “Rocked” the Streets
Last night (November 10) a host of people swarmed the Ralph Lauren flagship store on Madison Avenue to witness an impressive 4D show unlike anything ever seen before. Seriously!
Picture this – Madison Avenue, stopped traffic, hundreds of guests (many of whom had been enjoying champagne in the store), a faint scent of the Ralph Lauren fragrance that had been misted into the air, lights and music and you get an idea of what just happened last night. In the first of its kind the 4-D show, a series of images “appeared” from the building and felt like an interactive drive-in experience. We saw guests pointing and screaming as horses appeared from the building or as Ralph Lauren himself waved to the audience from a make-believe window.
This innovated experience was done to celebrate the 10 years of RalphLauren.com in the U.S. and the launch of e-commerce in the UK. Of the show David Lauren, Senior Vice President of Advertising, Marketing and Corporate Communications explained “the light show is an extension of the Company’s dedication to pioneering the digital space with exciting and unique concepts.”
