Patricia Field MCM Launch Party
I am a big Patricia Field fan and have been since my High School days when I ventured into her store looking for the perfect prom dress. So, it was with school girl enthusiasm that I attended a super swanky party held at Field’s art-filled studio on The Bowery. Guests gathered around to celebrate official launch of the stylist Limited Edition collection Field’s designed for the luxury accessories brand, MCM.
Guests like Philip Bloch, Alexandera Richards, Emma Snowdon-Jones (who I also spotted at the HUGO BOSS party) mingled, drank, enjoyed a special performance from Sarina”The Violin Diva” Suno and danced to music by DJ Matheos. Of course the best part (at least to me) was the opportunity was to chat with the Sexy and the City stylist who was charming and fun.
The collection which she designed in leather and canvas features hardware details in army green, cognac and black, will be sold next week at special PatriciaField.com, Saks Fifth Avenue locations, and The Shops at The Plaza. Of the capsule collection she explains “I used the classic MCM designs as my starting point—I wanted to keep the logo and workmanship—but I wanted to switch out the textile and make the bags lighter.”
