Haspel Brought New Orleans to NYC for their 105 Celebration
This year Haspel, known for their killer suits for the dapper fellow, celebrated 105 years in business and earlier this week the company hosted a one of a kind party to commensurate the milestone. Haspel, overtook, The Griffin, in the Meatpacking District, and created a New Orleans-themed cocktail party. Guests in attendance including Bravo’s Andy Cohen and Actor Eric West, were treated to the sounds Henry Butler & Friends a New Orleans jazz band.
In addition to the festive sounds, guests got a sneak peek at the latest designs from the company which have undergone a major relaunch. In spring designers Sam Shipley and Jeff Halmos of Shipley & Halmos, were tasked with creating modern designs that reflect the new direction for the brand. “With this anniversary, we wanted to think about the Haspel of the future and how we might round out this guy’s life and wardrobe,” explained Halmos. “We also wanted to make sure our collaborators reflected the Haspel man’s sense of humor, style and confidence.”
In addition working with Shipley & Halmos, Haspel teamed up with Terrapin Stationers, Mulholland, Brooklyn Watches, and AO Eyewear to develop a collection of limited-edition essentials inspired by the Haspel man
