Hot! TGIF Cocktail Recipe of the Day: Halloween Cocktails

Add a little a jazz to your Halloween celebrations with theme appropriate cocktails. Here are some fancy cocktails to spookify your bash and impress your friends. Cheers.

Midori® Spider's Kiss

1 part Midori® Melon Liqueur
1 part Pinnacle® Vodka
Splash of Fresh Lemon Juice
A few dashes of Grenadine
Chocolate Fudge

Directions: Pipe a chocolate web into a martini glass and place in the refrigerator to chill. Combine Midori® Melon Liqueur, Pinnacle® Vodka and lemon juice in a shaker and strain into glass. For a blood effect, gently pour grenadine into glass using a spoon. Garnish with a chocolate dipped orange slice.

Monster Mash-hattan

1.5oz Woodford Reserve
1oz Sweet Vermouth
2 dashes Woodford Reserve Aromatic Bitters
1 orange twist

Directions: Fill mixing glass or cocktail shaker with ice, add ingredients and shake or stir according to your own preference. Strain into a cocktail glass.

SVEDKA Orange Scream Pop

2 parts SVEDKA Orange Cream Pop
½ part heavy cream
¼ part vanilla syrup
Float grenadine
Garnish with Candy Corn

Combine ingredients in cocktail shaker over ice, shake and strain into Martini glass. Garnish with candy corn. Vanilla Syrup: De-seed one vanilla pod and cut into quarters. Steep in one cup of hot water, turn off heat, and add one cup of granulated sugar. Store covered for 24 hours, strain into a container.

El Diablo (a.k.a 'the devil')
1.75 oz Partida Reposado
.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
.5 oz Agave Nectar
.25 oz Crème de Cassis
Ginger Beer

Directions: Shake all ingredients except for Ginger beer with ice and strain into a highball glass. Top with Ginger beer and stir.


1 part Skinnygirl® Cucumber Vodka
1 part DeKuyper® Pucker Sour Apple Schnapps
Squeeze of fresh lime
2 parts seltzer
Apple slices for garnish

Directions: Shake all ingredients except seltzer vigorously with ice. Pour mixture into a cocktail glass, top with seltzer and garnish with apple slices.


1.25 parts Courvoisier® VSOP
.75 parts DeKuyper® Sour Apple Pucker
Splash of orange juice
Splash of grenadine

Directions: Build cocktail in order in an ice filled highball glass. Garnish with a cherry.

Tale of the Wise Ferryman

1oz Somrus
2oz Irish Whiskey
3/4oz ginger liqueur
2oz Earl Grey Tea

Directions: In a shaker add the ingredients. Strain into a mason jar over ice and garnish with a metal straw and a tea strainer filled with Alder wood. Assemble as in picture and when ready to serve light the wood chips and allow the smoke to rise through the holes in the tea strainer. Shake with ice

Basil Hayden’s® Pumpkin Bourbon Cider

2 parts Basil Hayden's® Bourbon
¾ part Fresh Lemon Juice
½ part Sweet Vermouth
¼ tsp. Superfine Sugar
¾ part Pumpkin Puree
6 dashes Angostura Bitters
2 parts Dry Hard Cider
1 piece of Fresh Nutmeg (for garnish)
1 Cinnamon Stick (for garnish)

Directions: Combine pumpkin puree, superfine sugar, sweet vermouth, bitters and lemon juice into a mixing glass. Stir until sugar is nearly dissolved. Add Basil Hayden’s® Bourbon and ice. Stir well and strain into a cocktail glass. Top with dry hard cider. Garnish with grated nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.

1.5 Snow Leopard Vodka
.75 lemon juice
.5 cinnamon syrup
.5 half & half
1.0 egg white
1 large table spoon pumpkin butter

Directions: Combine ingredients


1.5oz Absolut
2oz Black Currant juice
5oz Chartreuse

Directions: Stir ingredients with ice. Strain into a chilled martini glass.
