Elin Kling Debuts her Memorizing Guess Collection
This past Wednesday, fashion cognoscenti gathered at Home Studios–a spacious posh Loft in Flatiron–to felicitate Elin King, the Swedish-born street style icon and personality behind Style by Kling, on her recent collaboration with GUESS, the first for the denim brand.
“I thought it would be fun because they are turning 30 years to actually use the history. So I found these iconic pieces like the bustier, and then did everything how I would wear it in 2012,” Kling told Styleite of the collection at the party. The results are mesmerizing wares true to Guess heritage with hints of Spanish femininity. The limited-edition capsule collection, which includes blouses, chambray shirts, leather skirts, and some delightful drop waist dresses, was on full display as music from DJ Brendan Fallis filled the room. And as guests like Olivia Palermo, Katie Cassidy, Nicole Trunfio, Katrina Bowden, Renee Olstead, Dani Stahl, and Silviu Tolu, circulated the room.
The Elin Kling for Marciano collection will hit Marciano retail stores and select Guess and department stores starting October 22.
