#NYFW SAUNDER Spring 2015 Beauty Report
Emily Saunders showcased her new Spring 2015 inspired by Iron Butterfly’s heavy-metal song “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida”. The collection was donned with neon florals, pastel and metallic snake prints perfect for inner feminine rocker in us all.
Hair: Leading Hairstylist Nunzio Saviano used Kérastase to create a 60’s beehive incorporating a French twist with this iconic style, made modern. First Saviano used Kérastase’s SPRAY À PORTER Beach Texture Spray on dry hair to create flexible texture. Separate the top section, pulling all the hair back and twist on the side to secure the hair. Tease the remaining top section for volume. Finish off with Kerasteses’ Laque Dentelle Micro-Mist Fixing Hairspray – Flexible Hold.
Makeup: Katie Hughes,butter LONDON’s Global Colour Ambassador created the perfect 60’s girl for Saunder. The butter LONDON team applied WINK Eye Pencil Union Jack Black to create a lifting smokey eye. Making sure to be heavy on the outer flick with a subtle transitional lift. For the ultimate pretty lady, rocker chic pop; apply butter LONDON’s lipstick inPrimrose Picnic on lips.
Nails: Saunder went with Patricia Yankee’s pre-glued nails painted in a glittery pink shade lacquerer encrusted with big pearls and diamonds. A mix of pretty and intricate ladylike details.
