Cynthia Steffe Spring 2011
In the sea of whites, greys, peaches, and the other muted colors that appear to be the trend for Spring 2011, Cynthia Steffe, presented a collection that was delightfully full of life and color. Steffe’s Spring 2011 vibrant selection of dresses that can easily ease from day wear to evening wear with class and style truly felt summery.
The Spring 2011 collection which Cynthia Steffe creative director, Shaun Kearney, showcased at EyeBeam was inspired by “Retro Jetset Glamour.”
This Retro Jetset Glamour gal for Spring 2011 “is firmly rooted in the present. She puts her cool contemporary spin on iconic European and American style, mixing chic, classic silhouettes with modern prints and clear, strong colors that are very much in the here and now.”
The inspiration is clearly evident; the collection includes a series European silhouettes and styles tailored to suite an American Market. And, the results are rather impressive. Look out for asymmetrical pieces. Expect lots of colors with soft piping details, as in the honey crepe de chine scarf hem halter dress with ivory binding. Also expect lots flattering dresses with very girly flowing shapes and flowery prints. A must have from this set – fuschia faille extended flutter sleeve belted shirtdress.
The jackets are equally as impressive as the dresses. We love the trench with the soft butterscotch leather detailing. A total must have. As are the cool selection of fabrics from printed silks, to the jersey cottons, to the butterscoth leather pieces.
Spring 2011 for Cynthia Steffe is rather glamorous with very few misses with and lots of hits.
