Fashion Week Parties with Alexander Wang, Charlotte Ronson, Tommy Hilifiger, more

Whew, fashion week is officially over!  And, so are the fun parties. During the Mercedes-Benz fashion week many designers, to celebrate a successful showing of their collections, have these elaborate festivities. This year FAB! was lucky to attend a few of the most talked about parties of the season.

Last Saturday (September 11), Alexander Wang, celebrated the conclusion of his successful Spring 2011 presentation with a massive bash. The designer’s team converted a raw space/parking lot into a carnival wonderland – complete with bumper cars, carousel, merry-go-round, games and music from FAB! favorite DJ Kiss. The epic party lasted till two in the morning and celebrity attendees included Rebecca Romin, Aisha Tyler, Josh Grolin, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Agyness Deyn, Iris Strubegger and Russell Simmons. The insane party even showcase Wang dancing skills when the designer got into the spirit of things. Take a look of Wang dancing with a bevy of party-goers (see above).

Charlotte Ronson hosted her fashion week party at Avenue in the meatpacking district (conveniently across the street from Alexander Wang’s party). Unlike, the Wang’s party this one was intimate and a welcome change from the busy happenings of fashion week. Guests sipped on bubbly and delicious bites. Spotted VIP’s included Russell Simmons, Samantha Ronson, Dani Stahl, Josh Grolin, Mia Moretti and of course Charlotte Ronson.

Tommy Hilfiger celebrated the successful showcase of the Spring 2011 collection and 25 years in business with a grand soiree in Lincoln Center. Guests were greeted with soldier-like boys in Tommy preppy suits; a blue blazer, a white oxford, and khacki pants. Upon arrival attendees had three floors to enjoy the night events and listen The Strokes Perfom. VIP’s spotted include Ed Westwick, Mark Ruffalo, Russel Simmons, Kimora Lee Simmons, Neil Patrick Harris, Jason Lewis, Kelly Osbourne, Christina Hendricks, Jeremy Piven and Bradley Cooper.

Zac Posen is so cool he celebrated the Z Spoke by Zac Poson with a party at LAVO before it officially opened the public. The designer himself was spotted hamming it up on the dance floor and enjoying the festivities.

Ideeli, along with TheFind, Avon & popchips hosted a much needed fashion wrap-up party. Exhausted fashionistas mingled, traded war stories, drank wine, and relaxed. And, received a gift bag which included a $25 gift certificate, perfume and some other wonderful goodies.

Gwen Stefani, made a quick appearance at the L’Oreal for L.A.M.B party. The musician/designer stop and took pictures with fans before dashing off to the next party. The fun party featured a great music set from DJ Jeremy, a delicious a specialty drink which tasted like Lemonade.

Mulberry, hosted a very secret after party at posh Soho house. Yet, the secret was out. The soiree was packed. The venue was changed, the pool filled with wonderful decorations. And, food was constantly passed around. The fish and chips was by far my favorite dish. Delicious. Spotted attendees include Alexa Chung, Alexis Biedel, Caroline Murphy, Dree Hemingway, Jade Jagger, and Kelly Osbourne.

So much parties and so little time. The recovery continues but stay tuned for coverage of shows.
