#NYFW: 60 Seconds with Lindsay Degen
In what felt like the blink of an eye, New York Fashion Week is upon us again! We got up close and personal with today’s established and emerging designers alike. See what Lindsay Degen had to say when we asked her about DEGEN Spring 2015, in this season’s “60 Seconds” Q&A.
The Fabulous Report (TFR): What can we expect from your spring collection?
Lindsay Degen (LD): We’re very excited to be collaborating with Print All Over Me this season on some digitally printed ready-to-wear pieces that will add another dimension to our knits.
TFR: Speaking of designs–if you could only wear one outfit for the rest of your life, what would it be?
LD: Levi’s made in America jeans, my favorite vintage bootleg Bart Simpson shirt, and Doc Martens.
TFR: What is the one beauty product you can’t live without?
LD: China Glaze nail polish in Peachy Keen.
TFR: Your favorite song of the moment?
LD: Katy Perry- Birthday.
TFR: Red or white wine?
LD: Red.
TFR: How do you take your coffee?
LD: With a touch of soy milk.
TFR: What’s your guilty pleasure?
LD: Crif Dogs.
TFR: Did you take a vacation this summer? If so, where did you go?
LD: I went on an awesome biking trip through Northern Ireland with my parents.
TFR: If you could design for a Disney character– which one would you choose?
LD: Cinderella’s fairy godmother, because she definitely does some magical knitting herself.
TFR: What’s your favorite way to unwind?
LD: Baking banana bread.
TFR: What’s your favorite restaurant?
LD: Frank’s in the East Village.
TFR: How will you celebrate the completion of the show?
LD: I always go to dinner with my family after my shows. Besides that, probably catch up on some sleep and go support my fellow designers for the rest of Fashion Week. 🙂
