The phone was officially unveiled last week at a massive press preview and promises to be better than any of the previous devices because of snappy innovations. The G2 comes pre-loaded with a slew of clever features and a unique design approach that lends credence to the statement.
Like many of the current phones in the market, the G2 has a 13-megapixel camera and runs on Android’s 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, however it is the first device to offer Qualcomm’s lightning-quick 2.26GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor (available on all models from all providers). It also has a dedicated allotment of memory to handle graphics process (GRAM). As a result users will find a device that boost the latest Android operating system along with super fast processing speed. This will offer a friendlier mobile browsing experience.
Additionally, the G2, is the first mobile device to place the volume rocker and power buttons on the back of the device. This handy design change is part of their unique and innovative approach. By changing the location of these bottoms G2 is able to eliminate all unnecessary bottoms on the sides as wells on the actual device itself. This designs improves the screen real estate. In fact the device has an impressive 5.2-inch 1080p IPS panel. Again, this will make browsing website enjoyable.
Based on the short time we had with the phone, we noticed the speed. The G2 is super fast. It handles task with ease and it feels very light when compared the S4. Also the images appear clearer and look crisp. All in all the G2 is likely to create some competition for the rival companies and with good reason.
