Opening Day Recap of Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge (2010) at Blue Star Jets Field
The blazing high temperature did little to stop the massive crowd from gathering at the opening day for the Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge (2010) at Blue Star Jets Field in Bridgehampton this Saturday.
Many of the attendees donned their best “Hampton-Chic” attire to enjoy the polo match and mingle among the VIP’s and socialites in attendance. We spotted the festive party-goers (check out our gallery) in a series of gorgeous summer apparel. Some women wore gorgeous hats and dresses while some men were spotted in a colorful array of linen pants.
In the midst of all the beautiful clothing and hot weather there was (of course) fun to be had and attendees danced to the sounds of DJ D-Nice, and sampled specialty cocktails (and beverage) from Patron and Smartwater, dinned on delicious bites of food and enjoyed fine shopping from the retailers on hand.
Retailer Ralph Lauren, staged a temporary “pop-up,” that included the Ralph Lauren’s Black Watch collection, Polo shirts, The World of Polo Fragrance, a selection of their latest summer collection and model looking staff members. SWAGG – the makers of a new mobile application that allows consumers to purchase, exchange and redeem gift cards from their phone and send to other iPhone users – hosted a VIP lounge. Amber Rose, spent the bulk of her time here; me thinks she was trying avoid addressing the breakup rumors with Kanye West. Like Amber Rose, Bethenny Frankel also spent a great deal of her time in the SWAGG VIP lounge. Jason Binn was also seen in the Swagg lounge. Though, he arrived towards the end of the match with he came prepared with his own photographer. Jason even shared a man hug with Scott Disick. While Scott was engaged in his bromance, Kourtney Kardashian, answered questions from the press. Other notables attendees included Jill and Bobby Zarin, Countess Luanne de Lesseps, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Ramona Singer, Caroline and Dina Manzo, Chris Bosh spotted, Malik Yoga, and Star Jones.
A portion of proceeds from the Mercedes-Benz Bridgehampton Polo Challenge will go to South Fork Breast Cancer Coalition.
