This Week in Fashion: Tory Burch and Karlie Kloss Glam Up Your Fitness Gear
Designer Tory Burch and model Karlie Kloss are two of the women we have to thank for making fitness more glam (and more fun!). Yesterday, each of the creative minds released items that transcend the traditional looks of workout wear. Take a peek at the new options to spice up any workout routine.
Karlie Kloss partnered with Nike for Fall 2014, and among the new collection is the meticulously designed Pro Rival Bra ($65.00), available as of yesterday. What makes it special is that it’s inspired by traditional lingerie construction, meaning its stretch-friendly nylon material provides support and shaping to accentuate the natural contours of the female figure (we can’t tell you how long we’ve been waiting for a sports bra with support this sexy). It’s sure to be a fit for any body type (the Nike Pro Rival Bra is available in 25 sizes) and any workout (considering Karlie’s versatile interest in workout regimens of all kinds from spinning to ballet).
Over in the wearable tech world, Tory Burch caused buzz yesterday with the launch of her collection for Fitbit Flex (yes, that tracking band that people have been sporting to track their fitness, sleep patterns, and more). The designer has put a chic, jewelry-inspired interpretation on the wristband– the results are pieces that look more like pendants or bracelets that you could easily grab to wear for any occasion, even an evening night out! Pricing for the collection ranges from $38.00 for the Silicone Printed Bracelet (available in two colors), to $175.00 for the Fret Pendant Necklace, to $195.00 for the Metal Hinged Bracelet (shown here).
