Stanley Tucci Toasts Worlds Oldest Rum
If you are keeping tabs on our drinking escapades, you’re well aware that we’ve enjoyed gold infused bubbly, drank Dom Perignon from elegant glow in the dark bottles and kick off summer with loads of Chandon bubbly. Last Wednesday the adventures continued at a party to celebrate the world’s oldest barrel-aged rum from Appleton Estate.
Held at Lambs Club, guests including Stanley Tucci, Master Distiller Joy Spence, along with rum connoisseurs and cocktail enthusiasts toasted the limited-edition Appleton Estate 50 Year Old Reserve with a slew savory cocktails, delightful appetizers and hand rolled cigars made as guests mingled about.
Only 70 bottles are available in the US and each will retail for $5,000.
