TGIF Cocktail Recipe for Day: Lets Celebrate World Martini Day
Apparently, June 19th is World Martini Day, but if you’ve keeping score its only fair since there’s a National Margarita Day. Naturally, being the kind folks we are we want you to celebrate the day James Bond style with some fancy cocktails. Whether you prefer a gin (this editor favorite) or vodka or even a flavor martini— there’s something to suite your flavor profile.
2 parts Skinnygirl® Bare Naked Vodka
Splash of dry vermouth
Fresh olives for garnish
Directions: Shake liquids with ice in a cocktail shaker and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with fresh olives.
Dirty, Spicy Ménage Martini
3 parts Ménage à Trois Vodka
1 part spicy chipotle olive juice
½ part dry vermouth
3 chipotle olives
Directions: Add ice to a shaker, then Ménage à Trois Vodka and two dashes of vermouth and olive juice. Shake, and pour into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with olives for the perfect Ménage à Trois Martini.
2 oz. Van Gogh Acai-Blueberry Vodka
Splash of cranberry juice
1 lime, freshly squeezed
Directions: Muddle the blueberries in lime juice. Add mixture and vodka into a shaker and shake very well. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a twist of lime.
Hendrick’s Gin Marini
8 parts Hendrick’s Gin
1 part Dry Vermouth
Directions: Combine in a mixing glass, stir to dilute, and chill. Strain into a martini glass.
1oz G'Vine Flouraison Gin
1/3 oz La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Extra Dry
1/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
Directions: Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice and stir. Strain into a frozen Martini glass. Garish with a lemon twist.
1½ parts SVEDKA Cucumber Lime
¾ part fresh lime juice
¾ part simple syrup
Pinch of mint
Directions: Pour all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice. Add mint. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a cucumber wheel.
“The Love Buzz Martini”
*A different "take on the classic martini*
1.5oz Absolut Vodka
.5oz Crème de cacao
1oz raspberry puree
1oz room-temperature espresso
Directions:Shake all ingredients and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a chocolate-raspberry tuille.
1 ounce Tanqueray No. TEN
1 ounce Dry Vermouth
1 dash Orange Bitters
Lemon twist for garnish
Directions: Add all ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir and strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon.
*Invented in 2000 by internationally acclaimed bartender Salvatore Calebrese, this clever Cointreau cocktail makes use of a breakfast favorite: orange marmalade.
1 1/2 oz Gin
1/2 oz Cointreau
1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1 bar spoon Orange Marmalade
Directions: Combine all ingredients in mixing glass, shake vigorously with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange triangle.

2 oz. elit Vodka
.75 oz Sage Infused Dolin Dry Vermouth*
2 dashes of celery bitters
Directions: In a mixing glass add all ingredients and stir for 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a small sprig of thyme and sage attached to a mini clothespin. Express oils from a small piece of lemon over cocktail and discard. *add 40 sage leaves and 6 thyme sprigs in bottle for 2 hours then strain out.
