VF + Lacoste Host Royal Pains Premiere Party
Last night, Vanity Fair along with Lacoste joined forces to toast the cast of Royal of Pains as they celebrated the second season of the show. The premiere party was held at the Lacoste Fifth avenue Boutique, and was PACKED wall-to-wall with guests eager to mingle with the show stars; The celebration was complete cocktails and food.
The show is partly inspired from the real doctors at Doctors Without Borders. And, seeing as this was the premiere party I was hoping to catch a glimpse of the show during the party but sadly this was not the case. So, I drank the sparkling wine, enjoyed the hors d’oeuvres, and tried my darnedest not to bump into anyone by staying stationary – I was mildly successful. Though, I avoided the massive crowd, I still spotted Mark Feuerstein, along with Reshma Shetty as they cheerfully chatted with each other and friends. Quickly after spotting the two stars, while the party was fun, the crowded place was not. So, I found the exit and left.
Upon leaving guests received a $50 gift card to Lacoste. Sad, you didn’t get a card? Luckily, Lacoste is giving mood and offering the general public the opportunity to get a gift card. Want one? The process is simple and consumers who take the challenge will also help Doctor’s without borders.
Arrive at any Lacoste store with a gently worn shirt to exchange and in turn receive a $50 gift card redeemable at any Lacoste boutique. For every shirt collected, USA will donate $10 to Doctors Without Borders, the international medical humanitarian organization. At the end of the promotion, all the shirts collected will be donated to HELP USA, which provides housing and supportive services to people in need throughout the country.
For us New Yorkers the Royal Pains cast will attend the Greely Square Location which will also feature summer lounge chairs and refreshments. And, Doctors Without Borders will be on hand to share their courageous and heart-warming experiences working overseas.
