Next Time You’re Bloomingdale’s You Might Just See Tony Award Performers
The Tony Awards and Bloomingdale’s created a series of specialty experiences for theater fans leading up to the 68th-Annual Tony Awards, broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall Sunday, June 8, on CBS. As part of the promotion casts members from some Broadway plays, including, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Aladdin, Beautiful – The Carole King Musical and After Midnight, offers shoppers with in-store performances, ticket giveaways, photo opportunities and CD signings.
What’s more costumes from the most recent productions of Drowsy Chaperone, Follies and Side show is also on display on the third floor of Bloomingdale’s now through June 8.
“It is a rare and wonderful opportunity to get to see costumes from your favorite shows up close and personal, and we are excited to offer that experience to Broadway fans at Bloomingdale’s,” Heather Hitchens, executive director of the American Theatre Wing, and Charlotte St. Martin, executive director of The Broadway League, said.
