Sunday Funday: Nail Art with Ciaté Chalkboard Manicure Kit
I’ll admit–I know nothing about creating fancy nail art designs. I mean when I was in my late teens I was all about intricate nail design (and they that often involved long nails until my nails), until I had an unfortunate incident that involved a serious broken nail. I pretty much gave up on manicures and as a result my nail are so boring. I am aiming to change that.
I am starting by trying Chalkboard Manicure ($24), a youth inspired kit from Ciaté. The classroom-inspired mani is incredibly fun, easy to do use and even the most artistically challenged can create Picasso worthy designed–okay maybe that’s a stretch kit but you get the idea.
Using the nail kit is easy as 1) applying the chalk coat (do so twice); 2) selecting your design or creating your design using the handy chalk color pencil; 3) seal the design by applying a clear top coat (included) and you’re done. Sit back and enjoy your work.
Here’s what I did.
