Hot! Pss… Today is World Cocktail Day

We may not have won the lottery (probably because we don’t play) but we feeling especially lucky today. Could it be because its world cocktail day? You know us so well, after all we love a good Marg. Today, is World Cocktail day.  In honor of World Cocktail Day, we’ve gathered some cocktails to celebrate. Cheers! Salud! Sante! Kampai!

The Zandi

A Night in Thyme
Created by Lindsay Nader of Elysium Craft Cocktail Services in Los Angeles

2 oz. SKYY Infusions Moscato Grape
¾ oz. Lime Juice
¾ oz. Simple Syrup
3 medium Watermelon Chunks
1 Thyme Sprig

Directions: In a cocktail shaker, muddle thyme and watermelon. Add the rest of the ingredients, shake and finely strain over ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a thyme sprig.

2 oz. Gin
1 Whole Ripe Plum
.75 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
.5 oz. Simple Syrup
3 drops of Rhubarb Bitters

Directions: Muddle whole plum. Add ice and the remaining ingredients. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.

2.5 oz Inniskillin Cab Franc
.75 oz rye whiskey
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Garnish: Long lemon zest *slice of peel

Directions: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass, add ice, stir until cold, strain over one large ice cube into a rocks glass and garnish.

* Glassware: Rocks glass with one large ice cube

Avión Watermelon

2 parts Avión Silver or Reposado
1 part Fresh Lime Juice
4 One-Inch Cubes Fresh Watermelon
Squeeze Agave Nectar

Muddle watermelon with agave nectar in a mixing glass. Add remaining ingredients, and shake vigorously with ice. Fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass, and garnish as desired.
