Fabulous Teens make a Difference at Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research Benefit
Some of New York City most fabulous teens made their way to Espace this past Friday for “The Second Annual Teens Making a Difference” hosted York Preparatory student Andrew Warren. Proceeds from the $200 per ticket event benefit the Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research.
The foundation created in 1996 by Denise Rich and her daughters, Daniella Rich Kilstock and Ilona Rich Schachter in memory of Rich’s daughter, Gabrielle Rich Aouad – who lost her struggle with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) at 27. The Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research funds basic and clinical medical research in both conventional and integrative disciplines which focus on prevention, treatment and quality of life issues of leukemia, lymphoma and related cancers.
The three hundred charitable teenagers listened to performances from Cash Money/Universal Recording Artist Jay Sean and danced to the tunes of DJ PS1 & DJ Enferno; and watched a fashion show featuring designers – Alice + Olivia, Anlo, Calvin Klein,Cynthia Rowley, Elizabeth & James, Jill Stuart, Maglia, Michael Kors, Shoshanna, Unk & Will (who we interview about their collection).
The guests also mingled with the guests like Mark Indelicato, Tinsley Mortimer, Dabney Mercer, Jules Kirby and many more.
