Sample Wines from Over 50 Countries at the UN
On Thursday, French Prime minister Alain Juppé, Mayor of Bordeaux and George Sape, a former Maitre of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in New York and Managing Director of Epstein Becker & Green, PC, will officially launch “The American Friends of the Cité des civilisations du vin,” a massive wine experience, featuring wines from all regions of the world. The event will be held at the UN Delegates Dining Room in New York.
“This is the first fund raising effort for the American Friends of the Cité des civilisations du vin (AFCCV),” explains its President George Sape. “We plan to raise one million dollars to fund the naming of ‘The Thomas Jefferson Auditorium’ at the Cité, which will be symbolic of the unique history of close relations between France and U.S.”
American Friends of the Cité des civilisations du vin (AFCCV) became a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization in 2014. AFCCV’s mission is to support the Cité des civilisations du vin.
Tickets for the event can be purchased online.
