Kiehl’s Earth Day Celebration for Açai Damage Protecting Toning Mist
Celebrity DJ Taryn Manning, was on the tunable at the Kiehl’s Earth Day soiree to celebrate the launch of the ‘Limited Edition Collection of Açai Damage Protecting Toning Mist‘ to benefit the Rainforest Alliance.
The launch event which was hosted by model and surfer-Malia Jones, who along with Julianne Moore, Pharrell Williams, and Jeff Koons collaborated with Kiehl’s to create the special collection. Each collaborator created a limited edition label for Kiehl’s Açai Damage-Protecting Toning Mist ($26) that is a part of a skincare collection that is not only Eco Cert certified organic; the net proceeds (amounting to $200,000) from the sale of the bottles will benefit the Rainforest Alliance.
Tensie Whelan, President of Rainforest Alliance, and Chis Salgardo, Kiehl’s President, also were in attendance at the intimate gathering. Both were joined notable names like Robert Verdi, Adrienne Bailon, and other VIP’s as they sipped on specialty cocktails, enjoyed the passed food, danced to the tunes to DJ Manning and celebrated earth in fabulous fashion.
The mist are currently available at Kiehls.com and all Kiehl’s Since 1851 stores.
