Global Fashion Brands features Eco-Sustainable Products for Charity
Last week we were invited to a special pop-up shop at the Nexus Townhouse Spa hosted by Global Fashion Brands. The event celebrated Earth Month and showcased a slew of ethical and earth friendly products in womenswear, menswear and accessories in a relaxing oasis. And, eager guests who braved the rainy weather not only discovered new brands but also enjoyed eco-friendly makeovers courtesy of Kroma All Natural Botanical Makeup, and complimentary cocktails.
During the event shoppers perused the featured brands which included Ailin, Jonano, Chak Chel, Moonlight, Vella Mode, and Boutique Ethique. In addition to the earth friendly brands that participated, two non-profit brands, Care For Kenya and Project Migration also joined the celebration. Care For Kenya partnered with Show Me Your Mumu to present mumus with a modernized twist. Proceeds from the purchase of the items will benefit women in Kenya who made the garments. Project Migration showcased a sexy faux-leather ‘Ubuntu Bracelet’ for $44, and that small contribution provides clean drinking water and medical supplies for an entire year to a single mother in Africa. Fantastic!
Global Fashion Brands is also featuring 116 eco-sustainable styles at EarthMonth for the entire month of April. 10% of all proceeds from the physical & virtual pop-up stores will be donated to the Red Cross for Japan Relief.
