Join Me on TOMS’ One Day Without Shoes
Growing up–in a developing country–seeing kids walking around and going to school without shoes was a common occurrence. I remember seeing my friends at school with blistered feet because their parents couldn’t afford to buy them flip-flops let alone shoes. School for them was more difficult. And, really who couldn’t blame them? After all, imagine trying to learn when your feet have blisters? It’s a completely heartbreaking sight and experience. Sadly, this still happens but thanks to TOMS they are less children suffering. So, this Tuesday I am going barefoot to bring attention to this cause. And, I would like you to join me, Lisa Bensley of Beauty By Benz, Makeda Saggau-Sackey of Glamazon Diaries, and Shaunequa Braithwaite of Templeofglam in the venture.
