M.I.A Wows Onlookers at the Celebration of Audi’s All New A3
When you’re in the business of pushing the boundaries of creativity, like Audi is, showcasing your newest product naturally calls for an attention grabbing presentation. And, that’s exactly what Audi did this past Thursday at New York City’s SIR Stage 37. The brand, gathered a group of influencers from various fields to a night like no other and to fete the all-new Audi A3 .
The new car features stellar craftsmanship, segment-leading technology and several industry firsts including Audi connect with 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot connection and MMI touch. Naturally, the cars were cleverly sprinkled throughout the cavernous space and featured a custom RGB Audi A3 installation created by Milan-based artists Carnovsky. The art installation which provided a visual experience integrating the Audi brand in a high-tech and shareable way served as a backdrop for the slew of evening activities.
As part of the showcase, Audi created a one-of-a-kind experience that combined musical performances from New York and California in a creative way and using fairly new technology. In New York, M.IA. performed a medley of some of her most notable tunes to the group. “It feels intimate but its not like its a condom,” she joked before performing “Bad Girls” and mesmerizing guests with a virtual duet featuring Janelle Monáe. The performance a cutting-edge hologram featured never before seen technology that incorporated integrated 3D projection mapping.
