Tourneau Unveils New Bryant Park Location
Bryant Park, whose convenient location attracts garment companies, now has a new luxury retailer in the area. This week, Tourneau a premiere luxury watch company which stocks brands such as Rolex, Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panerai, IWC, Breitling, Tudor and Longines in their stores, opened a sparkly 3,330-square-foot space store. “We just think this location is very undeserved,” Larry H. Barkley SR.,Senior Vice President of Retail for Tourneau, told us at the store unveiling on Monday on why they choose the location. “We are prominent on the other side of New York. We are on 57th and Madison and we have a store on 53rd and Madison but when we were looking at how to split our locations up we realized that the luxury clientele was not being served on this side.”
The new location (3 Bryant Park–the corner of 6th Avenue and 42nd Street), which was designed by Tourneau’s in-house Store Development & Design team with New York-based Kenneth Park Architects, will house over 17 premiere luxury watch brands along with several boutiques.
