Rebecca Taylor Coming to the Meatpacking
Hot on the heels of her 1970’s inspired ultra-glam Fall 2011 runway show, beloved designer Rebecca Taylor continues to charm her countless fans with news of a second New York City store opening in March. The exciting news comes as the brand celebrates its 15th anniversary.
The 1,800 sq. ft. luxury shop, located in the Meatpacking District, promises to be the perfect pairing to Taylor’s sweetly coquettish, contemporary designs. Featuring cast-resin furniture, modern architecture, ornate moldings and an original tin ceiling, the fashionable Gansevoort Street address draws inspiration from a historic Parisian apartment.
On display will be the full suite of Taylor’s apparel and accessories along with the designer’s upcoming cutting edge collaborations with Citizens of Humanity, Porselli and sister/jewelry designer, Tory. The sisters have partnered to create a sterling silver dolphin charm with proceeds to benefit dolphins in the Pacific.
Also on tap – Taylor’s most cherished must-haves including candles, scents and candies from her native New Zealand. Special surprise items ranging from books to home decor accents will be introduced on a seasonal basis.
Happy anniversary, Rebecca Taylor! We can’t wait to check out the gorgeous, new store!
