Hot! Gallery #NYFW: Parkchoonmoo Fall 2014

Show: Parkchoonmoo Fall 2014

Inspiration: Cubism and sharp angles.

Makeup: Jenna Menard for Clinique; Hair: Nick Irwin for Catwalk by TIGI

What We Thought:

Happy 25th anniversary, Parkchoonmoo! Honoring a quarter of a century in the biz, Parkchoonmoo Fall 2014 incorporated looks from previous collections with a fresh take on layering for fall/winter. The neck was covered and bundled up for the majority of the looks, further accentuating the very tailored lines. The Clinique team created a vampy look with a deep purple lip while hair done by the TIGI team was slicked back and actually tucked into the clothing, so that focus was truly directed there. The combination of sleek knee-high boots with varying shapes and angles made for a very interesting viewing that felt futuristic and timeless all at once… with the rather minimal use of colors powering through the otherwise mostly monochromatic palette.
