Hot! TGIF Cocktail Recipe of the Day: Game Day Inspired Drinking

This week’s recipe(s) are all about the Super Bowl (naturally). With the game slated to happen this weekend many of you will probably gather a few friends. Hopefully cheer your favorite team or throw shade to your least favorite team. Or Watch Beyonce perform.  Whether you’re in it to root for your team or for the entertainment, one thing is for certain: you need some game day cocktails. Don’t you agree? Here a six recipes to get the party started.


Ravens Purple Pride

1.5 oz. SKYY Vodka
.75 oz. Creme de Violette
3 oz. Dry Sparkling Wine (such as Drusian Prosecco)
3 dashes Fee Brothers or Angostura Orange Bitters

Directions: Stir SKYY Vodka, Orange Bitters and Creme de Violette with ice. Strain into Champagne coup or flute and top with Prosecco. Top with zest of an orange and garnish with orange twist.

The Viking Bowl

2oz Vikingfjord 80 Proof
2 Dashes Campari
3oz Tonic Water

Directions: Mix Ingredients together.

Game Day Bloody

1 ½ parts Avión Silver
4 parts tomato juice
2 tsp. horseradish
½ part worcestershire sauce
2 dashes hot sauce
squeezed lemon
squeezed lime
salt and pepper

Directions: Combine ingredients in a Collins glass with ice, and stir. Do not shake. Garnish as desired.

Cruzan Victory Sip

1 part Cruzan Mango Rum
1 part Cruzan Aged Light Rum
1/2 part Cruzan Orange Rum
1/2 part Fresh Lime Juice
3 parts Sparkling Wine
Mint Sprigs

Directions: Combine rum and lime juice in the bottom of a champagne flute. Top with sparkling wine to finish. Garnish with a mint sprig.

LeSutra Grape Raven

3 Parts LeSutra Grape Sparkling Liqueur
1 Part Vodka
1 Part Sprite

Directions: Serve on the rocks in party fish bowl. (Serves three people)
