For one night only, sultry pop-soul newcomers Nikki & Rich perforom live at the the Highline Ballroom.

Soon to be released, Nikki & Rich’s debut album is a sparkling collection of exuberant ’60s-inspired gems. Thanks to Nikki Leonti’s sassy, high-stepping vocal quality, she captures all the fun and vitality of classic ’60s girl groups, but as heard on “Cat & Mouse,” the sound is made thoroughly modern by Rich Velonskis’s hard-hitting, radio-ready beats and keyboard textures. Imagine The Chiffons’ Judy Craig or The Marvelettes’ Gladys Horton backed by OutKast and you’re not far off.
