Hot! Gallery TGIF Cocktail Recipe(s) of the Day: New Year’s Eve Libations

If you, unlike others who decided to hit the streets to ring in 2013, decided to celebrate at home with loved ones, treat them to a specialty cocktail.  Bring 2013 in style and as proud tub-thumper of champagne we support the use of lots of fizz. In honor of our last Friday cocktail recipe of the day — we dedicate our recipes to bubbly inspired cocktails.  Cheers, drink responsibly, and Happy 2013.

Belvedere Sparkle
1 oz. Belvedere Vodka
2 oz. cranberry juice with ice
1 oz. Moët & Chandon Champagne

Directions: Shake vodka and cranberry juice with ice. Strain into chilled martini glass and top with Champagne. Garnish with raspberries.

Grey Goose Le Fizz
1 ¼ oz. GREY GOOSE Vodka
½ oz. Elderflower cordial
½ oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
Top with cold soda water

Directions: Shake and double strain Grey Goose and elderflower cordial and top with soda water. Serve in a champagne flute.

Perrier-Jouët Fraise Sauvage

Perrier-Jouët Fraise Sauvage
2 oz. Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque/Brut
1 ¼ oz. Vodka
¾ oz. fresh-squeezed lemon juice
¼ oz. simple syrup
1 whole strawberry

Directions: In a bottom of a mixing glass muddle the strawberry into a purée. Add all ingredients except Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut. Add ice, cover and shake vigorously for 7-8 seconds. Pour Perrier Jouët Grand Brut into a chilled cocktail-martini glass and pour the cocktail over it. Garnish with half a strawberry.

Cali Kiss
1 1/2 oz Caliche Rum
3/4 oz St Germaine Elderflower Liquor
1/2 a Lemon cut in quarters
1 oz Chilled Prosseco (or any dry sparkling wine)

Directions: In a mixing glass muddle the lemon, Caliche and elderflower liqueur, fill with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into an ice filled flute and top with sparkling wine.

Chandon Midnight Magic
2-3 oz. Chandon Brut Classic
½ oz. Cassis Blackberry Liquer
½ oz. White Port

Directions: In a champagne flute, combine the white port and Cassis and top with the Chandon Brut Classic. Garnish with a blackberry.

Ginger Drop

1 1/2 oz. Bacardi Limón
1 oz. Lillet
Champagne
Fresh ginger

Directions: Muddle fresh ginger with Bacardi Limón and Lillet; pour into Champagne glass. Top with Champagne and garnish each glass with a piece of crystallized ginger, which can be purchased at a gourmet store.

Fresca Frambuesa
1 oz. Cuca Fresca Prata
1 oz. Raspberry puree or three muddled raspberries
½ oz. Lemon Juice
½ oz. Simple syrup
3 oz. Champagne

Directions: In a mixing glass, muddle raspberries, unless using the raspberry puree, add the rest of the ingredients over ice and lightly combine with a bar spoon. Julep strain into a champagne flute and garnish with a lemon twist.

Pucker Fireworks Fizz
1 1/2 parts Pucker Vodka Citrus Squeeze
1 part pineapple juice
1 1⁄2 parts prosecco

Directions: Add Pucker Vodka Citrus Squeeze and pineapple juice to cocktail shaker. Shake and pour into a champagne flute. Top with prosecco.

Ruby Sipper
1.5 oz. Barefoot Bubbly Extra Dry
0.75 oz. peach liqueur
2 oz. white cranberry juice
1.25 oz. citrus vodka
Pomegranate seeds

DIRECTIONS: Place spoonful of pomegranate seeds in chilled martini glass. In cocktail shaker, combine vodka, peach liqueur and cranberry juice with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into chilled martini glass. Top with Barefoot Bubbly Extra Dry.

SKYY Nutcrackers Dream
1 1/2 oz SKYY Infusions Raspberry vodka
1 tsp. Maraschino cherry juice
6 oz Brut Champagne

Directions: Shake SKYY Infusions Raspberry and cherry juice with ice in a shaker. Pour into a champagne flute, fill with champagne and garnish with a Maraschino cherry.
