Year in Review: 10 Best Parties of 2012

After a year filled with so many adventures, we’ve had a difficult time narrowing down the best parties we’ve attended. After all this year had us playing hookie at The Dream Downtown Hotel. It also had us attending a party at the HighLine in a downpour wherere hot models served as umbrella hollers for the launch of the second season of Suits. We also were there when Chandon celebrated the launch of their limited-edition Chandon bottle. We got to see the final shoppable movie from Target on the big screen. And most recently, we partied with the locals in the Meatpacking District and celebrated (BELVEDERE)^RED takeover in the ‘hood. But we did it. We selected our most memorable fête for 2012. Without further ado the best parties for 2012.

SALVATORE FERRAGAMO Launches SIGNORINA at Palazzo Chupi

10. La Perla Celebrates Jason Wu Spring 2013 at the The Standard Hotel Sponsored by Belvedere Vodka. Right as fashion week started, Jason Wu celebrates his partnership with La Perla at the The Standard Hotel Rooftop. Guests, including this gal (I am in the wearing the blue dress), kicked back with good friends before fashion week got in full swing. A lovely night in NYC.

9. Tiffany & Co. Celebrates the launch of the RUBEDO™ Metal collection. Tiffany's famed Fifth Avenue Store was the playground for a select group of influencers. The company, celebrated the launch the of their new metal collection as music from one of your favorites, DJ Kiss played in the background and the jewels served as the décor.

8. Ferragamo celebrates the launch of Signorina -- Palazzo Chupi, a fabulous estate, welcomed hoards of attractive folks to celebrate the launch of the Ferragamo's latest scent Signorina earlier this year. The evening also included a special performance from Sting's daughter Coco Summer

7."The Sex is in the Heels," Brian Atwood Launch Party. The celebs were as plentiful as the food which was scattered everywhere. Kim Kardashian, the Hilton sisters, Heidi Klum, Rachel Zoe, and Ryan Lochte (much to delight of editors) all dropped and partied HARD. We know we saw people get down.

6. Victoria's Secret Show After Party at Lavo. Despite the weather hoards of beautiful people descended at LAVO for the post celebration for the taping of the Victoria's Secret Show. Naturally, musicians and actors in search for their next girlfriend also followed.

5. Maison Martin Margiela For H&M Launch Party. How do you top Nicki Minaj and Prince? If you're H&M you take an abandoned nine story building and hold a massive bash with a slew of important people. The celebration by MMM was by all accounts was epic.

4. Carine Roitfeld Launch Party for CR Fashion Book. One of the most talked about parties of the year and with good reason. Fashion biggest names gathered at The Frick for the black tie gala. Cocktails from Belvedere and Veuve Clicquot naturally flowed freely.

3. John Legend & Lang Lang Fête Dom Pérignon’s Power Of Creation. When an invite mentions John Legend and a private concert in the same sentence, the only option you have is to attend because it is sure to be amazing as the Dom Pérignon's party was. Legend, wowed us with a medley of songs at St. Bartholomew Church.

2. Bergdorf Goodman Celebrates 111 Anniversary With A Bang. When queen Anna (Wintour) makes a cameo you know you are somewhere special. Bergdorf Goodman bash celebrating their 111 anniversary certainly fits the bill. Guests wore designer dresses for an evening of high-society mingling like no other.

1.Cartier Celebrates the Launch of Juste Un Clou with a Massive Party. When you have a budget like Cartier (reportedly the bash costs $10 million to produce), anything is possible. For the launch of Juste Un Clou spared no expense--and went as far as to create a club. It's as amazing as you would imagine. Waitresses were on hand to take orders from the specialty created menu and serve loads of custom Cartier bubbly. Jay-Z and Beyonce popped in and watched as Rita Ora performed for the intimate crowd.
