Beauty Buy Series: Winter Blues [HAIR CARE]
Your locks deserve as much care and attention that you give to your face. That’s why it’s especially important to switch up your hair care regimen every once in awhile and give new products a try… and as we get into the depths of winter, make sure to protect your hair with shampoo and conditioner that focuses on maintaining the proper moisture and silkiness in each strand of your hair.
Its tagline: “Skin care for your hair.” Don’t be alarmed when you try this and that foamy lather you’re probably used to from most shampoos is missing. This non-sudsing formula is specially designed to normalize oil production in the scalp, and because of its gentle solution, it’s also great for color and chemically treated hair.
Psst – the Hair Rules brand has received accolades even from its curly haired fan base, which continues to rave about how silky smooth hair is left feeling after use of the Hair Rules line of products. The line caters specifically to multi-textured hair, and Founder & Creative Director Anthony Dickey has helped the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker, Alicia Keys, and Andre 3000 to achieve sleek (not to mention healthy) style for their varying hair types.

Infusium 23 Moisture Replenisher 2 Conditioner
So we covered shampoo… now onto the other half of this powerhouse duo, conditioner! And we really mean duo… use of these two products together has yielded amazing results for us here at TFR. I’ve never wanted to run my fingers through my hair so much (semi-embarrassing confession). This conditioner helps target those annoying fly-aways and leaves hair with a glossy look and feel thanks to its formula that’s packed with amino acids, pro-vitamins, and proteins.
Inevitably, an added plus = not only is it effective, but it’s super inexpensive too.
Give this duo a go and let us know what you think!
