With pomegranates in season (through January) and undoubtedly a high possibility that you already have vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and other common ingredients in your cabinet, ORGO founder and aesthetician Rianna Loving shares her easy DIY recipes for at-home skincare solutions targeting everything from dry skin to dark spots. All-Around Miracle Solution: Rose Water Toner with Superfood Pomegranate

The typical season for pomegranates is October through January – so now is the perfect time to try out this recipe in the comfort of your own kitchen!

What You’ll Need:
¼ cup filtered water
¼ cup aloe vera juice
8 drops of rose otto essential oil
Superfood ingredient: 1 tablespoon pomegranate juice or juice of actual fresh pomegranate seeds

Directions: Add all your ingredients to a clean bottle with a sprayer top. You may also refrigerate. Use throughout the day to hydrate and calm skin.

For Extremely Parched Skin: Vanilla and Coconut Body Lotion with Superfood Coconut Oil

We all know how the harsh cold of winter can leave skin dry and dehydrated…

What You’ll Need:
1/8 cup shea butter
1 tablespoon aloe vera juice
1 tablespoon of jojoba oil
Optional: 5-10 drops vanilla extract
Superfood ingredient: ¼ cup coconut oil

Directions: Add all ingredients to a clean pot and slowly heat until melted. Pour melted ingredients into a clean jar with cover. Use sparingly on body or face.

Fight Inflammation: Chamomile Honey Facial with Superfood Orange

Put the tea and honey you have in your pantry to new use with this quick, at-home remedy to soothe irritated skin.

What You’ll Need:
¼ cup calendula or chamomile tea
¼ cup jojoba oil or olive oil
1 tablespoon honey
8 drops of vitamin E oil
Optional: 8 drops of essential oil of geranium, lavender, or roman chamomile
Superfood ingredient: Oranges (squeeze 1 fresh orange slice)

Directions: Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix well. Pour into a clean bottle or jar with lid. Make sure to keep out of the sun. Apply to face and gently wash with a warm wash cloth.

Increase Blood Flow and Circulation: Cayenne Pepper Mask

We’re calling this the “Hot Cocoa” mask thanks to its combination of cayenne pepper and cocoa powder in its ingredients. Sounds good enough to eat! This recipe is rich in vitamins A, E, and antioxidants, and the cayenne pepper actually helps to fortify the existing nutrients in the cocoa powder, making it easier for the skin to absorb.

What You’ll Need:
½ ripped avocado
1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon of raw cocoa powder

Directions: Mix raw cocoa powder and cayenne pepper, then blend avocado into mix until the texture is smooth.

Brighten Complexion: Paprika-Infused Mask

We love that all the ingredients necessary for this mask are seriously so accessible.

What You’ll Need:
1 tablespoon of jojoba oil
½ tablespoon of almond meal
1 teaspoon of paprika

Directions: Mix paprika and almond meal in a bowl. Slowly pour jojoba oil into the mixture, blending until all ingredients are evenly combined.
