CARUSO Celebrates the Opening Of Its First Store in NYC
Lovers of Italian luxury made goods now have a new shopping destination. CARUSO, a fine Italian menswear brand, opened its first international outpost in New York City. To celebrate the new opening the retailer hosted a massive party in the newly open store. Caruso CEO Umberto Angeloni (formerly CEO and co-owner of Brioni), invited shoppers and fashion types for a night of revelry. The evening which included appearances from Greg & Mona Arnold, Prosper & Martine Assouline, Michael Avedon, Douglas Band, Eric Boman, Geoffrey Bradfield, Jonathan Cheban, Pietro Cicognani, Carmen D’Alessio also featured Chilled Lambrusco wine served by butlers dressed as Caruso’s quirky character “Fefe Napoli;” authentic Italian delicacies including Culatello sliced freshly on site, porcini risotto with truffle, sbrisolonacake with almonds, and brutti ma buoni cookies. And the sounds of DJ Marjorie Gubelmann on the turntables.
