JCPenney, doesn’t exactly come to mind when thinking about bridal shopping but the retailer hopes to change this. In fact, we think the new additions and innovations will leave you stunned.
The merchant created a wedding registry app that aims to make tracking and selecting gifts a snap. “JCPenney’s registry app marries high-tech with a streamlined design for a simple and seamless registry experience,” gushed celebrity wedding planner, Yifat Oren. “Handy tools like inspiration galleries, video thank-yous, sample registries and the registry’s Memory Marker feature make registering fun and easy.”
Additionally, the app offers users the ability to keep track of purchased items; it also help users the ability to manage items; it can also send personalize thank you notes with video; users can peruse sample list for registry inspiration which is pretty cool. Ultimately, Oren explains “the JCPenney wedding registry takes the guesswork out of giving and receiving with an amazing selection of cookware, serveware, bedding, bath, furniture and more.”
In addition to the new app, JCPenney is also releasing the Modern Bride Signature Collection, a new line of diamond engagement rings for the well-heeled bride. The new line which retails from $2,500 to $10,000 features 20 stunning styles (platinum and gold), all bearing a hidden infinity symbols encased by a blue “diamond’ beneath the center stone — for the something blue.
The Modern Bride Signature Collection featuring diamonds certified by the Independent Gemological Laboratories, is available at select stores.
