Madewell Spring 2015
For Spring 2015, the Madewell girl will find that her much loved staples are getting a grown up update but it the best way. The collection, which we recently previewed at their showroom, is filled with updated wear it everyday favorites. The resulting offerings are modern, unfussy, fresh yet understand and classic. And, that’s the purpose. Somsack Sikhounmuong, Madewell’s Head of Design, explained the collection is about “returning to the classics, the things you love and come back to.” The collection she says focuses on “evolution rather than revolution.”
So, instead of rompers, loyal customers will find jumpsuits both featuring a variety of textures and prints; a classic denim features hand-done embroidery design from artists in Mexico. The spring will offer standout of outwear pieces included leather jackets, blazers, Kimono inspired toppers (that are really outstanding). And, standout accessories. We love the addition of the newsboy cap to the roster.
