Hot! Carol’s Daughter Debuts Chocolät Smoothing Collection

Earlier this week, Carol’s Daughter held a cocktail hour at the Grand Central Station Godiva boutique to celebrate the introduction of their newest line: hair smoothing collection Chocolät. This three step collection promotes the health of your hair by physically rebuilding hair structure while smoothing your hair to a soft and luxurious straight finish. Your hair will return to its original texture with the next shampoo while retaining the healthy smoothing qualities from previous uses of Chocolät. That means healthy, smooth, luxurious hair is cumulative and only gets better with each use!

The Chocolät collection is armed with several powerful and natural ingredients:

Cacao Extract: Helps to smooth and soften while protecting against heat damage.

Olive-Derived Silicone Alternative: Acts as natural frizz control and shine enhancement.

Keravis Super Plant Protein: A vegetable-derived protein that helps rebuild hair and fill in porosity and missing cuticle layers for enhanced, longer lasting control.

Heat-Activated Cystine and Silk Protein: Seals out moisture to prevent style reversal

Coconut-Derived Cleansers: Wash away build-up, sebum, and dirt without stripping away hair’s color and natural moisture.

Who doesn’t love natural ingredients that promote beautiful and healthy hair? To top it all off, the fragrance is not overpowering. Rather, the combination of jasmine and vanilla cacao make for a soothing and luxurious scent.

Where did the concept of Chocolät originate? “It started with me sipping hot chocolate and thinking ‘chocolate-smooth.’” says Lisa Price, founder of Carol’s Daughter. “I’m told I look like a completely different person without the curls,” said Bibby Garcia, who recently joined Carol’s Daughter as their Expert Blow-Out Stylist.

Guests of the event were treated to Godiva chocolates and or d’oeuvres along with chocolate infused martini’s made from Godiva vodka. Delicious.
