Earlier this week Cat Footwear hosted a party to showcase the company’s first Pop-up shop in the US. The new store front, which is conveniently located right next to the Roger Smith Hotel (47th and Lexington) will have a series of special events for the next month starting today. In fact, those who stop by the shop today, will enjoy a for a day of shopping in honor of the UN-declared day “International Day of the Girl,” where 10% of all proceeds will go to the Ripple Project at E.P.I.C. (epicthemovement.org) to provide clean drinking-water in areas of need. Additionally, on October 21st, shoppers will have to opportunity to purchase three limited styles previously only available to UK consumers. So, if you’re collector stop by because is shop is far the only place where they are available.
As for the party, in addition to getting a first look at the shop, guests got a sneak peek at the spring 2015 collection. The collection, which was presented in four parts, showcased comfortable styles for both men and women. The presentation of 32 looks, also showcased styles from the new collaboration with London-based graphic print designer, Camille Walala. The collab is filled bold and bright prints.
