Hot! Gallery 2012 Emmy Awards: Our Beauty Takeaways

Mirror mirror on the wall… who said there’s only one that can be the fairest of them all? We’re talking about this past weekend’s Emmy’s beauties.

This year, we here at TFR (disappointingly) weren’t really blown away by any one look in particular… but we’ve compiled a list of some of the ensembles that stood out to us more than the rest, and the beauty products that they remind us of that you’ll want to covet for your own beauty closet!

One of our favorite personalities in the entertainment industry – Giuliana Rancic– kept it simple and sleek. Going along with her Romona Keveza dress, her look involved a nicely lined eye that screams “no smudge” liquid liner. We recommend NARS Eyeliner Stylo in Carpates to recreate this look at home.

Back when Kelly Osbourne first debuted her new hair color, a cross between storm grey and lavender, we weren’t the biggest fans. But it’s been growing on us and lo’ and behold – she basically matched her dress for the Emmy’s!

Mally Beauty’s City Chick Smokey Eye Kit in Plum Chelsea captures similar purple hues in a nicely packaged eyeshadow kit that makes blending for a smokey eye easy. Perfect for a night on the town with the girls – no hair dye or formal gown needed.

Va-va-voom. Thigh high slits sure seem to be back (three words: remember Angelina Jolie)! If you plan on stepping out in anything remotely as daring as Heidi Klum’s ensemble, may we suggest remembering something as simple as: flaunt your natural glow. For a little boost of sun-kissed color without too much sun, turn to Jergen’s Express Body Moisturizer.

We can’t resist a good sparkle. Kerry Washington’s shimmering pink Vivienne Westwood choice reminds us of our addiction to all that glitters – and reminds us of Sephora by OPI’s Jewelry Top Coat in Traffic Stopper Copper.

Where do we begin? As one of the younger stars on the red carpet, Modern Family’s Ariel Winter not only brought her A-game, but she outshined quite a few red carpet veterans. She was undoubtedly one of our favorite looks of the night, and we just loved her “neat and natural” hair loosely pulled back to start (and then there's the flawless makeup, sequin dress...). As part of Ariel’s prep for the evening, Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray helped to add volume and texture to her updo.

Bonus: we can’t get over how lovely this is –Teen Vogue’s behind-the-scenes look at how Ariel got ready for the big night (more products for your shopping cart!)
