Hot! NYFW Fashion Events Round Up

Fashion week in addition to showcasing the newest trends and styles also sees fashion tastemakers party hoping. Here are just some of the events that happened during fashion week

On September 9, Belvedere invaded to One World Trade for a celebration fit for James Bond. No seriously. Belverede held the party to preview their latest SPECTRE advertising campaign and featured a special appearance from Stephanie Sigman (the latest “Bond Girl!”). Guests enjoyed scenic views of the city and sipped on specialty crafted Belvedere SPECTRE 007 martinis. Music was curated by DJ Virgil Abloh.

NYLON REBEL FASHION PARTY

On September 10th, NYLON kicked off New York Fashion Week with the second annual Rebel Fashion private party at Up & Down. In partnership with COOLS and celebrating the September cover, the event featured a men’s and women’s presentation from designer WeDu. Celebrity and VIP attendees, such as Karrueche Tran,Randy Jackson, Jackie Cruz, Selenis Leyva, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth, braved the rain and danced to the musical stylings of DJ Jasmine Chess, Chelsea Leyland, Va$htie andAlex Winston while sipping on Stella Artois. Other guests took pictures at the Clinique face forward photo booth and previewed the extensive Waterford Rebel collection, which redefines gifting for a new generation including metal giftware, travel accessories and striking, bold jewelry. Later on in the evening, Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas joined the party and stayed happily cuddled up next to the DJ booth for the majority of the evening where Justin Timberlake, Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio, Nick Jonas, The Weeknd, Nicky Hiltonand Lewis Hamilton joined them partying into the early hours of the morning.

On September 11, art and fashion collided at the ART FOR LOVE event held at New York City’s famed Public Library. The evening hosts Moncler chairman Remo Ruffini and amfAR CEO Kevin Robert Frost, an exhibition curated by Fabien Baron, created to support amfAR. The exhibition at the New York Public Library showcased the works of 32 of the world’s greatest artists of our time, featuring their photographs that examined the strength and beauty of love derived from their different, and sometimes contrasting, points of view, individual vision, technique and imagination. The pieces hinge on a single common object, the iconic Maya duvet jacket, the essential symbol of all the Moncler world – interpreted according to the most diverse sensibilities and creative approaches. In attendance were Kelly Bensimon, Alexis Bittan, Philip Bloch, Samantha Lim,  Atlanta de Cadenet, Anna Della Russo, DJ Cassidy, DJ Pierce, Wael Davis, Mia Moretti (pictured above) and many more.

For another successful year, Panasonic Beauty Bar invited fashion editors and fashion type for pampering in between shows. Held at New York’s Salon Arrojo, conveniently located three blocks from Skylight Studios (one of the “official” fashion hubs), guests enjoyed mini-facials, manicures, makeup applications and hair styling sessions. This year partners included Glam App, Cargo Cosmetics, Vaseline, and the brand showcased their Intensive Care ™ Advanced Repair Spray Moisturizer and some others.

Jeremy Scott: The People's Designer - Afterparty

On September 15th, Provocateur played host to the official after party for “Jeremy Scott: The People’s Designer” in the midst of New York Fashion Week.  Immediately following the New York screening,  guests such as Taryn Manning, Leigh Lezark and Jeremy Kost, traveled downtown to coveted nightlife destination to celebrate Jeremy Scott’s big night. Aimee Song, Calli and Sam Beckerman, Victoria Justice and Lukas Haas, amongst others, began the evening in the Provocateur Café where they sipped specialty cocktails and reveled in the excitement of the premiere before Jeremy lead the party  into the Provocateur Club, where guests danced to the musical stylings of DJ Mazurbate and DJ Sita. During their set, Mazurbate and Sita brought Jeremy into the DJ booth to congratulate him on the future success of the movie while the crowd raised their glass and cheered to the designer of the evening. VIP attendees included Jeremy Scott. Taryn Manning and many more.

Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne_DKNY Celebrates Dao-Yi Chow & Maxwell Osborne’s Debut DKNY Collection_Madison McGaw_BFA

On Wednesday, September 16th, fashion darlings Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne of Public School and newly named creative directors of DKNY invited a few of their closest friends (read a lot) for a massive party. Held at Irving Plaza, the fête, featured a surprised performance from Santigold with a killer set. Additional notable in attendance included  Kate Mara, Santigold and husband Trevor Andrew, Jenna Lyons, Shea Jason Derulo, Marie, Brendan Fallis, ATL Twins, Stretch Armstrong, Jus Ske, Ben Bronfman and more.
