Farm Heroes Super Saga Comes to NYC
Just like that… fall is here. With fall comes the usual seasonal indulgences like pumpkin spice lattes, plaid shirts and boots, and apple picking. On the apple picking front, it’s not exactly something you associate with the city, but this week, an “urban orchard” came to life in the heart of Madison Square Park.
If you know the games Candy Crush and Farm Heroes, then you know King, the company behind these addicting mobile games. To celebrate the start of fall and the recently released Farm Heroes Super Saga game, a giant, green apple-shaped dome (fun fact: it was big enough to fit over a quarter of a million apples inside!) was set up in the park with an interactive experience inside. Visitors said hello the Cropsies, characters from the game, and to mimic the experience of the game itself, when four Cropsies were plucked from the trees inside and hugged, it generated an immersive experience filled with lights and an apple scent to symbolize the game’s Super Cropsie.
Actress Ashley Tisdale was on-site for the urban orchard experience as a Farm Heroes Super Saga fan herself.
Because… why not #HugaCropsie? They’re pretty cute.
