Party Pictures: Jeff Koons Celebrates His Partnership with Dom Pérignon
Dom Pérignon, in continuation of their recent collaboration with highly influential artist types including John Legend partnered, with world-renowned artist Jeff Koons.
To celebrate the partnership, Dom Pérignon, Jeff Koons and Chef de Cave Richard Geoffroy hosted a preview party at Steven Weiss Studios. The venue was transformed into a movie like magical space. The dimly light space was covered in moss and boasted a warm ambiance. The decor featured masterpieces from Koons that were scattered throughout the and included the piece “Balloon Venus for Dom Pérignon,” a limited edition bottle holder for the Rosé Vintage 2003, which was inspired by Koons’ original “Balloon Venus” sculpture. The affair as you would expect had lots of bubbly–as in Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2003 and Blanc Vintage 2004 that were served in the specialty constructed bars.
In addition to sampling limited edition champagne guests (including this bubbly loving gal) got a peek at the Dom Pérignon Limited Edition Gift Boxes designed Koons. The sets created for the Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2003 and Blanc Vintage 2004, were as you would expect designed by Jeff Koons. They featured reinterpreted iconic codes of Dom Pérignon – such as the label and the foil but done in a way long-time Dom P lovers won’t feel alienated and naturally also include the Jeff Koons signature.
In attendance were Eve, Alan Cumming, Cynthia Rowley, Mia Moretti, Carmelo Anthony, Martha Stewart, Donna Karan, Jeffrey Deitch, Henrik Lundqvist, Kyle MacLachlan,Ted Allen and a slew of party-types.
