What we thought:
The show was absolutely exciting, as models danced down the runway with delightfully surprising flair wearing lively florals and tie dyed stripes. The collection was filled with the vibrant colors and bold and provocative prints one would expect from the brand. Embroidered colored shorts and trenches were accented with vibrant sun hats, which were tipped just-so as to create an alluring feel. We were particularly impressed by the array of colorful maxi dresses that flowed gracefully along as models whisked down the runway.
The show evolved, first presenting bold prints in black and nude on soft and gentle textiles. As the show progressed, prints became more daring, gradually introducing pops of color, a slow rising crescendo of colors and prints that epitomized Desigual’s brand motto: La Vida es Chula, or Life is Cool, a visual demonstration of the lust for living well, feeling free and dressing expressively.
