Jeffrey Taylor for Supima Design Competition Spring 2017

'"This is a lush evening wear collection that reflects the Tibetan culture and tells the story of Tibetan women and their coming of age with a passionate color palette, sensual floral prints and bold lines."

“Sophisticated, creative and trailblazing women.”

Banana Republic Spring 2017

"Inspired by modern techniques and traditional craft and how new proportions bring an easy sophistication." *Michael Anderson, Senior Vice President of Design, Banana Republic

Bibhu Mohapatra Spring 2017

“With this seasons collection, I am honoring a myriad of unnamed muses who inspired not only myself, but the world of arts and culture during the prolific Parisian La Belle Époque (The Beautiful Era)”

Christian Siriano Spring 2017

"My Spring 2017 collection is perfect for a getaway on the Isle of Capri. Vintage photos from the 60s and 70s inspired a cool, modern seaside collection fit for a world-traveled woman."

Desigual Spring 2017

An eccentric mash-up of fabrics including tie-dye denim, sequined embroidery, and 3D graphics represent the Desigual woman’s fearless attitude and eternal curiosity.

Duston Jasso-Corduroy Spring 2017

"My Supima capsule collection is called "The Aureate" meaning: gilded in gold. It tells the story of an angel that has fallen to earth,"

Lie Sangbong Spring 2017

Valley of the moon

Nicole Miller Spring 2017

"My Spring 2017 collection is a culture mix, blending elements of traditional Panama with modern New York City influences.  As the world gets smaller everything gets woven together."

NOON BY NOOR Spring 2017

Into the deep.

Son Jung Wan Spring 2017

"My spring/summer 2017 collection embodies the exuberance of the 70s with vivid hues, dramatic silhouettes, and unapologetic glamour."

Renewal

Valentina Kova Spring 2017

“Immersion into the sights, sounds, and touches of the ocean.”

Jacob Blau for Supima Design Competition Spring 2017

"I am inspired by today’s new cool girl that wants to dress up and has the means to approach formality, but has few options that appeal to her. Using the 1950s teddy girl and the late 20th century UK rave culture as a research point, I love the exclusivity. The youthful trouble-free glory and the sense of refined decadency of Edwardian fashion these sub cultures used rebellion to shock their parent’s generation. Using my specialty in menswear tailoring, my capsule collection will conjure a romantic yet nonchalant vibe of the new commanding woman who’s always looking for the next party; illustrating this poignantly modern yet historical narrative. Her counterpart guy might mean business and knowing what he’s doing, but she calls the shots."

Degen Spring 2017

“ What designer? Who made it?

Jacqueline Chen for Supima Design Competition Spring 2017

"This collection is about the juxtaposition of intersecting lines and organic flowers. With the use of origami flowers, geometric lines, and embroidery, this collection will create a cohesive but interesting combination of classic evening wear and modern techniques,"

Adrian Escoto Spring 2017 for The Art Institutes

This collection is inspired by the woman of New York City. It is a denim patchwork sportswear line that is equal part street & uptown that is quintessentially New York through & through.

Yandy

Our goal for this collection is to mix the whimsy of Halloween with a polished, fashion forward aesthetic. Featuring pop-culture and modern inspirations mixed with classic styles, this collection is lively, bold and empowering and truly embodies the Yandy lifestyle.
