Raw Beauty Green Superfood Powder by HUM Nutrition

First things first… the name of this powder’s flavor is Mint Chocolate Chip Infusion. And the first time we tried it was in a cocktail that tasted like DELICIOUS (SPIKED) CHOCOLATE MILK. HUM Nutrition conducted a study of 10,000 women and learned that 2:55 PM is when women typically have the lowest level of energy. As a result, productivity drops an average of 44% in the afternoon.

As a solution to help people say “no thank you” to that slump, Raw Beauty is the best tasting green superfood powder we’ve tried yet. The vegan and gluten-free formula has mint, cocoa, and coconut sugar to thank for its great taste at only 25 calories per serving. But the real superstars working behind the scenes are the organic chlorella, spirulina, goji, acai, matcha, wheat grass and more, added to a blend of fruit and veggie powders that help to optimize metabolism, boost energy, and improve skin (thanks to properties that fight against stress factors that typically lead to dullness, breakouts, etc.).

Our preferred way to take Raw Beauty is to mix it with almond milk (for a more hearty taste compared to just mixing with water), but you can certainly try it in a smoothie or a (non-citrus) juice of your choice. The powder itself is a chocolate brown, FYI.

YANA™ Daily Collagen Shots by IMAGE Skincare

Yup- collagen isn’t just something that’s naturally found in your body. It’s also a supplement that you can ingest for some major beauty benefits, particularly for aging skin that’s facing the challenges of wrinkles and loss of skin elasticity.

One of our favorite skincare brands IMAGE Skincare recently launched YANA™, a liquid supplement that has gathered some seriously impressive clinical results. Taking one shot (each serving is 15ml) every morning is all it takes. Some of the study stats that stand out to us include: 100% of study participants saw improvement in their skin hydration, and 76% witnessed improvement in skin elasticity in 30 days.

The formula itself is a golden yellow color and the sweet candy-like taste makes it easy to take.

$99.95 (16 fl oz bottle)
$59.95 (14 pack box of on-the-go vials)

Second Chance Beauty Supplement by Tonya Crooks

If supermodel Cara Delevigne has been any indication, “brow game strong” in today’s beauty scene is alive and well. For those of us that need a little help because our brow hairs are inconveniently sparse, celebrity brow shaper and makeup artist Tonya Crooks has a supplement aptly titled “Second Chance” to boost your eyebrow health. The oral supplement contains a mix of vitamins, antioxidants, and green tea extract – together they’re designed to support better hair density aka filling in those “empty” areas.

For best results, it’s recommended to use the supplement in conjunction with the Second Chance Eyebrow Enhancement Serum.

$50.00 (2 month supply) at BeautyKind*

*When you purchase any product from BeautyKind, you get to choose a cause of your choice that will receive 5% of your purchase as a donation. The online beauty retailer currently works with over 20,000 non-profit organizations and has raised over $150,000 since 2014.

ACURE Organics Vanilla Cinnamon Power Meal

ACURE Organics joins the beauty supplement game with a few powders – we’ve got our sights set on the Vanilla Cinnamon Power Meal, a vegan and plant-based protein powder with a slight sweetness. So far in our testing we actually like taking a different approach for consuming this powder – while you can certainly go the traditional route and mix it with milk/water or in smoothies, we tried adding this into our breakfasts on a few occasions. Try adding it as a healthy sweetener to plain oatmeal and top with dried fruits and nuts, or mix it into Greek yogurt (or an acai bowl) with fresh fruit like blueberries.

All in all, the flavor is mild and can subtly enhance your breakfast while in the background, the antioxidant-fiber-enyzme-probiotic blend works to help you feel full, digest better, and feel good at the start of the day.
