This Handy Device Lets Me Curl My Hair Like a Pro
This summer, after a lot of trial and tribulations with some very unfortunate results, I think I’ve finally managed the art of styling my curly and thick mane. If you knew me in college, you will know why this a big deal. On a good day, my hair style of choice was this big mop of hair that was very similar to Simba’s big hair and on a bad day… well if we are being honest it just doesn’t get any more worse than that. Sadly, sometimes it did but because I am a kind soul, I will spare you the visuals.
as bantu knots. That said, I am still challenged with using the curling iron. When I am feeling like I can do anything with hot tools, I will try to curl my hair with a flat iron. The result is always same: no curls and my hair looks weird. On less brave days, I will use the curling iron but for some reason– I can never get it right. So, I’ve pretty much have given up on mastering the skill of curling my hair. That is, until, I was introduced to Kiss newest appliance: the Instawave. It is so easy to use that even I can manage to have perfectly curled hair in a snap. I was surprised that I pretty much got the hang of it during my first use.
The Instawave, which retails for $59, uses a base that grabs the hair strands and rotates them in way that effortless creates curls. It doesn’t matter whether you want loose or tight curls because Instawave will help you achieve the look you want with the push of a bottom. The instawave also curls left or right (so we lefties are covered). It doesn’t tangle the hair. It also has a max temperature of 420 with low/high heat switch so you can choose how much heat to apply to your hair. As for the frizz factor, the instawave has Diamond-Ceramic Ionic Technology that reduces frizz this results in healthy and shiny hair. Oh, in case you’re feeling victorious after curling your hair and happen to forget to shut the machine off– it turn off in 90 minutes.
